More wisdom from Margaret Turek

If [Mary’s] first major step in faith was to utter her fiat and thereby to receive and accept the miraculous gift of her Son, thereafter she must learn to relinquish the Son she has borne. She must complete the yes to God’s will that first made her a mother, only now on Golgotha her yes must be offered in view of God’s will to make her sinless Son ‘to be sin’ (2 Cor 5:21).

God’s Radical Love

Atonement develops a compelling vision of atonement as a process that originates from and is engendered by God’s own power to love. This vision not only takes account of the gravity of sin and its consequences, but also provides a clear illumination of the wholly gratuitous, radically forgiving, passionate and powerful nature of God’s redeeming love for mankind.
